Have you ever had one of those weeks where you’ve been so busy you don’t know whether you’re coming or going and then there’s all the stuff in-between? That exactly describes how this week has been for me. Fittings, shoots, trunk shows, parties– hey, those parties are all work related. These past few days it feels like I’ve overdosed on fashion. Anyways, I apologize for not posting my usual spectacular Friday entry.
My lovelies, Welcome to the First Day Of Fall. The season that includes the scent of apples and cinnamon, walking over crackly leaves on the sidewalk, mornings that have a slight crispness to them and of course one of my favorite days "Halloween." Autumn also marks the beginning of Fall Foliage Tours. In a short while tour buses filled with city folks aka Leaf Peepers will be making their rounds and marveling at the sight of the bright and colorful leaves. Currently the leaves are in transition mode turning from green to yellow.
Due to an incident last year I’m not sure our neighborhood will be included in part of the tour. A group of teens thought it would be amusing to give the folks on one of the tour buses that drove through the area a view of the full moon in broad daylight-- five to be precise. And no, I’m not referring to astronomy either.
