1. The Polar Vortex continues for us up here. Mother Nature is apparently hell bent on wanting to freeze us into human popsicles. Each time I leave the house I'm dressed as if I'm about to embark on a trip to Antarctica.
2. Today we celebrate the Chinese New Year or as it's sometimes called The Lunar New Year. According to the calendar 2014 is the Year of The Horse. 3. Did anyone catch the 56th Annual Grammy Awards this past Sunday? Daft Punk's album "Random Access Memories" took home 5 well deserved Grammys including Record of The Year & Album Of The Year. I said it once and I'll say it again, Euro Music rules!
4. What a truly memorable performance with Madonna and Queen Latifah joining Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for a performance of "Same Love" as 33 couples tied the knot. Queen Latifah is not an ordained minister, however, she was commissioned to perform the ceremony in the state of California just for that one time.
