What a day, early morning 6am flight meant I had to be at the airport by 3am. What's the point of arriving early if the resort doesn't have the room ready? We Canadians have a reputation for being polite, but when you get about 40 Canadians who have just left the cold and have landed in hot, sweaty weather and then find out their rooms won't be ready for another 3hrs, than we're not always so nice.
I decided to venture into the old city, and I tell you, it's just as lively and vibrant as ever. ❤️ So rich in history, I'll be doing some more exploring in the coming days. The first day is always exhausting.
