Today, Karl Lagerfield presented his Pre-Fall 2013 collection at Linlithgow Palace in Scotland for the annual Métiers d'Art show. Lagerfield, the head designer and creative director of Chanel, chose Scotland as the location for showcasing the collection because of the rich heritage of Chanel in Scotland, and the skilled craftsmanship of Scottish tweed and cashmere, which ‘are an integral and iconic part of Chanel's collections today.’
The invite:
Linlithgow Palace:
Scottish model Stella Tennant (short black hair) in a pre-fitting.
Actress Keira Knightley who fronts an advert for the label's Coco Mademoiselle perfume was a no show as was Brad Pitt.
The devine Cara Delevingne who currently is the "it" girl in the fashion world wore a short skirt with tights.
The show closed with models in a high-collared snowy white gown, as if the ghost of Elizabeth I was once again vanquishing that of her cousin Mary.
The man himself, Karl Lagerfield with Stella Tennant.
Also appearing on the runway, Karl's 4 year old godson Hudson Kroenig, 4, take his third trip down the runway for Chanel with his father, model Brad Kroenig.
