I'm ticked off!

For those of you who don't know I have an Instagram account. Every couple of days I'll post a pic of myself in a new outfit, a quote I like and sometimes even I'll post a food pic. Yes I'm one of those individuals who enjoys posting pictures of what delicious meal I'm indulging in. So you can imagine my shock when 3 of my pictures were flagged on account of being inappropriate....containing nudity and I was warned my account could be deleted if I continue to post similar pictures

I received the notification from Instagram via email and after reading it I said outloud, What the f#ck?! Oops! I immediately covered my mouth! To be honest I don't know what shocked me more-- my pics being flagged, getting a warning from Instagram or dropping the F-bomb? I rarely ever swear. I tend to prefer the words, crap or frigging. Sister was in the kitchen and after hearing me utter that sentence she asked,

What's the matter, darling? Did you chip your nail-polish?

Needless to say I was not amused. After I explained, sister requested to see the pictures and after viewing them she said,

How is this any different from someone posing in a bikini? I don't find anything wrong with them. The one of you in the shorts is cute--- I should know, I took the shot.

My thoughts exactly! The people at Instagram need their frigging eyes checked.

Do you think Instagram has the right to delete a person's account because of nudity? Personally, I don't think they do. I respect everyones' opinion but if you don't like someone's picture is it really necessary to flag it? And who's to say what's inappropriate and what isn't, right?

I follow 163 accounts-- friends, celebrities, fashion sites etc. I have 125 followers. Out of those 125, 40 of them are people I know. Out of those 40, 25 are close friends. I know it wasn't any of them. So who was the culprit?

To be honest it could have been anyone in Instagram-Land since I keep my account open to the Public. Because I don't show my face I felt it wasn't necessary to keep it Private (Only users following me can view my page) but recent events have made me change my mind--- and because I received a really creepy comment from someone whom I suspect maybe a potential serial killer. He wrote--

I want to take you into a dark room, blindfold you and....

Trust me you don't want to know what followed after that. By the way-- if someone's in a dark room why would you blindfold them? Isn't it dark already?

Bunnies & A Full Moon

The first long weekend of Spring has arrived. Not only is it Easter Weekend but have you heard about the Blood Moon? Oh yeah, it's going to be a full Blood Moon tomorrow.
 
A Blood Moon is sometimes used to describe a Total Lunar Eclipse. When the Earth casts its shadow on a Full Moon and eclipses it, the Moon may get a red glow.

On Saturday evening - just as Passover draws to a close - an eerie blood color will engulf the moon.It is the third of four successive total 'blood-red' lunar eclipses, each followed by six full moons - an extremely rare 'Tetrad'.

Some people believe that the tetrad has special significance because the eclipses coincide with important Jewish festivals. The two April lunar eclipses in 2014 and 2015 occur at the same time as Passover, while the October and September eclipses occur during the Feast of Tabernacle. This, they suggest, is connected to a biblical prophecy of the end of times. The King James Bible predicts: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes," [Joel 2:31].

John Hagee, an American pastor, claims the strange timing of the event - between the anniversary of Jesus' death on Good Friday and His resurrection on Easter Sunday - proves a religiously significant global event is about to unfold.  He added: "What is so remarkable about this blood moon is that it specifically fulfills prophecies set out in the Bible.

Some are even predicting it maybe the end of the world. Hmm, the end of the world? If the world turns into The Walking Dead I'm prepared. **pulls out crossbows, combat knives, bow & arrows** 


This weekend also marks Easter. Bunnies, chocolates, new clothes and a full moon that comes with a prophecy that something significant will unfold--- Wow! It's going to be one hell of a Long Weekend!!
