About last night: May 18/24

Who.doesn't love a little music with their dinner under a Costa Rican humid night? Under normal circumstances I would but last night I wasn't having it. I had a blistering headache, and every bone in my body was aching. 😣

I figured it was from the excessive heat but my sister had her own theory who texted me and said, "I think it's from the other night, with all the drinking you did"🧉 🥳

Hmm, 🤔 perhaps I thought, but I still think it was from the heat. I was in bed by 8pm. After a 9-hour sleep, feeling much better this morning. 🤗

The humidity is insane today. The resort was warning guests to try to keep their flip-flops on especially around the pool area because the asphalt literally feels like it's on fire.

Today would have been a great day to test "it's so hot you can fry an egg on the sidewalk"

The beach sand wasn'y exactly cool to the touch, it was just as hot but as soon as you got to the shoreline, it was refreshing.

Great time yesterday! Party ended at 130am local time and that's the longest I've stayed up since arriving here.

The first pic was taken just before 630am and the humidity today seems to be at its highest. Within seconds of stepping outside, my backside was drenched. It's the kind of heat where your sweat has sweat. A cold plunge in the pool felt good but then that frigging iguana who doesn't want to leave the pool area, kept jumping in prompting the guests to scramble out of the pool. You'd almost think it was JAWS!! 🦈

Breakie was lovely with mimosas being served. 🍹 

Mimosas and eggs....yum! 😋
