Although I kept hydrated with water at the The Jungle Party, I wasn't able to stomach a lot of food last night. Maybe it was because of the extreme heat 🥵 but I just stuck with a plate of fruit.

Oh lordy, the amount of tequila that was flowing, I wouldn't be shocked if there's a shortage after today. (There's more posted in my stories)

About last night:  July 29/24

I love Indian food and was excited to try out the dishes. However, that excitement didn't last long, especially when I saw the menu. Every Indian dish had some type of seafood infused in it, from fish to lobster, oy.

Then I checked out the Krystal Restaurant and don't even get me started on that menu - everything that came out of the ocean could be found on that menu. 😖

Unfortunately, at the Italian and the steakhouse restaurant there was a minimum of a 2hr wait to get in. At that point, I didn't have the energy to wait, so I headed to the International Restaurant where there's always something taste palette pleasing for everyone.

About last night: July 29/24

I've been watching carefully what I've been eating during this trip, including refraining from eating sweet. If you know me, then you know I probably have one of the biggest sweet tooths on the planets. Yesterday was international night with every food and dessert known to mankind. I should have gotten a medal for avoiding all that delicious temptation. 😵‍💫

Mexico is always a great idea 🇲🇽 ❤️

The resort I'm staying in is literally the size of a city. According to my phone, I walk, on average, about 6.7km per day. With the exception of the rooms and three of the restaurants, the entire place is an open air concept so there's no air conditioning and no elevators or short cuts to get you from one place to the next. As I said, so much walking and going up and down stairs, which normally I wouldn't have a problem, but when it's +45C humidity, it can be a little bit of a challenge. So, one needs to pace themselves
After a late night, I took a nice nap.poolside before heading into town for some shopping.
