I love horror movies, especially the old school ones. There's something about horror films from that decade that can't compete with the horror movies from today. And we all know that one rule every 80s horror had in order to stay alive through a horror movie, right?

Pictured above, a very young Johnny Depp who made his Hollywood debut in Wes Craven's A Nightmare On Elm Street and I've been crushing on him ever since.  I always imagined in my teen years he'd one day see me, fall head over heels and the next thing I know I'd be introducing myself to people as Mrs. Johnny Depp. 

Sadly it never happened.

I'm Sorta Like The Grinch...

When it comes to Fall, I'm sorta like The Grinch. With the exception of Halloween, I hate.....with a passion I hate this time of year. I despise it. I hate the yucky, wet leaves. I hate the damp cold weather and I could care less about the changing of the colors of the leaves. Fall is always associated with wearing cozy clothes, staying indoors while watching TV while a warm blanket covers you. I assure you none of that appeals to me.

 I hate the whole  layering my clothes , absolutely hate ugg boots--  you will never catch me wearing them ever, and do not even get me started on Pumpkin Spice Latte   Long time readers of my blog will know I don't drink coffee or tea so the whole Pumpkin Spice Latte season has no appeal to me to me either.

I miss the beachy weather 😢

Two weeks on the waiting list, my newest read finally arrived-- "Brothers" by Alex Van Halen. 

One of my favorite all time groups, is Van Halen. I've always been a fan of the music but became even a bigger fan when Sammy Hagar joined the band. I was never big on David Lee Roth for some reason.  I will admit DLR had much more stage presence and theatrics but Sammy's vocals and song writing skills were above and beyond. No doubt both singers contributed to the band's world-wide success but when it comes to that age old question, whose team are you on? My answer will always be Team Hagar....all the way. 

RIP, Eddie.
