My apologies for the short Friday post. That malevolent being known as The Sandman kept me tossing and turning these past few days. The combination of exhaustion and having a busy week prevented me from posting the next installment of The Idiot Wedding Planner.
Hopefully you'll enjoy this entry.
Tomorrow 2 major events will occur: The Supermoon and Cinco de Mayo.
THE SUPERMOON
If the skies are clear tomorrow when you look up you'll see a spectacular and magnificent sight---the full moon but this isn't just any ordinary full moon, it's The Supermoon. The Supermoon is when the Moon will reach perigee — the point at which the Moon’s elliptical orbit puts it as close as it ever gets to Earth. This results in a "Supermoon" and the moon will appear 14% bigger and 30% brighter-- it will be the BIGGEST and most BRIGHTEST full moon of the year.
CINCO DE MAYO
Cinco de Mayo, a day of Mexican heritage and pride that commemorates the Mexican army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla during the French-Mexican War in 1862.
But hardly anyone cares about the historical significance, it's all about the drinking, right?
"Perfect Cuervo Margarita"

INGREDIENTS:
1 ounce José Cuervo Especial
3 ounce José Cuervo Lime Margarita Mix
1 wedge lime
1 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS:
Rub rim of a chilled margarita glass with half a lime.
Dip into salt to coat.

Shake vigorously.
Strain into the margarita glass.
Garnish with lime wedge.
****
To all you Sky-Watchers out there, what could be better than throwing down a warm blanket on the lawn and being with that special someone as The Supermoon glows ever so brightly above you.
