According to NASA, tonight will be identified as the most magical nights of all, the Perseids Meteor Shower peaks tonight. Next year, the Perseid meteor shower will coincide with a brighter moon, making viewing more difficult.

Funny that they call it a shower, which suggests the meteors are falling down. In space, there is no "up" and "down".
Looks like it was last night. Missed it! Well, I watched the video so that's just as good. Besides, a meteor shower sounds painful.
