Cocaine Princess here.
I hate winter. More than words can say, I....hate....winter.
When Mother Nature failed at her attempt to freeze us, her next attempt was trying to bury us in the snow, and what I mean by that is we had two major storms this past week. Yes two! Can you believe the damn nerve of her! The first took place on Sunday and the second storm Mother Nature unleashed on us occurred Wednesday which made it into the record books. 14 cm of snow fell eclipsing the old record of 11.6 cm (Feb. 5, 2011).
I'm so over winter and it isn't just me who shares this sentiment. Every where I go I hear people cursing at the weather. It's gotten to the point now where it's become mentally exhausting. Enough is Enough. You step outside and all you see is snow, tons and tons of it. It's never~ending. My neighbors kids built a snowman in their front yard. When I took a look at it the other day even the snowman had a look on his face that expressed he was feeling the blues. Oh my God, when will this madness end? Speaking of snowman, how awesome is this--> Back in January two Minnesota brothers built a 16 foot high snow shark in their front yard. Click here.
The only thing that's making my winter blues go away are two lovely words that have brought an enormous smile to my face, FASHION WEEK. Ahh, Fashion Week kicked off yesterday in the Fashion Capital of the World. To my surprise London no longer holds that title. Although I'm craving for summer I can't wait to see what all the designers have in store for Fall/Winter 2014~15.
That's all for this week, my apologies for the short post. This damn Canadian weather is draining me.

My loyal and dear readers, it's finally Friday.

Everywhere I look there are 10 feet tall mounds of snow, and we are going to get 2 more inches tomorrow.
The kids in out neighborhood made a snowman and a sea serpent out of snow and colored them with paints or food coloring. It didn't make this winter any more interesting.
If only you could sleep through the winter like a grizzly bear, Miss Princess! When you feel fed up, just remember that the sun is getting stronger every day.
Bathwater at 9:49,
I didn't hear about that one but I'm guessing they thought the colors would make the winter season a little brighter.
Gorilla Bananas at 10:10,
Oh, if only I could I would be a very happy Princess!
No snow here, dear Princess... but that could change tonight...
We are under a winter storm watch... and they have forecast ice for us... I hope not... blah!!!
I would much rather have snow... :o)
How have you been, dear??

Red Shoes at 1:11,
Hey Shoes, oh I'm hanging in there and praying for warm sunshine. (Yes, snow is better than ice)
Winter in Chicago has been totally horrible. I just bought a 4 wheel drive car way out of my budget that goes through any snow pile imaginable, and that makes me feel great! Until the first payment arrives.
Kenneth Noisewater at 5:36,
It's been a terrible winter for us up here too.
Those 4-wheelers are so awesome to drive in this weather!!
