Cinco Rule #5

Cocaine Princess here.

I can only imagine the disappointment you must have felt on Friday when there wasn't an entry posted. I sincerely apologize. The reason for me not posting is because  I couldn't get access to my account. Blogger had some type of technical issue that prevented me from logging in.

Today is May 5th, aka Cinco de Mayo and in honor of this day filled with nachos, quesadillas and tacos one needs something to wash it down with, right?  What better drinkie than a classic........

Margarita!

 1 ounce Jose Cuervo Especial
3 ounce Jose Cuervo Lime Margarita Mix
 1 wedge  lime
 1 teaspoon salt

Rub rim of a chilled margarita glass with half a lime.
Dip into salt to coat.
In a shaker with ice, add José Cuervo Especial and José Cuervo Lime Margarita Mix.
Shake vigorously.
Strain into the margarita glass.
Garnish with lime wedge.

Salud!!

XOXOXO,
Cocaine Princess

You're a long way from Mexico to be celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Miss Princess. Is it a cultural thing for Canadians of Hispanic blood?

Gorilla Bananas at 3:07,
Actually a lot of people celebrate it up here and not just those of Latin blood......presumably because it's a day that involves drinking.

It is another excuse for Americans to party that has been adopted by Canadians. Once summer gets here we won't need an excuse.
