It's the quarter finals in the World Cup. Aside from France playing against Germany, today Brazil faces off with Colombia.
I'm torn as to who I should be cheering for. I've always been a Team Brazil supporter but my background is Colombian. I feel I should be chanting GO COLOMBIA GO! but Colombia hasn't played in the past four World Cup games, so for them to come this far says a lot about the team. Part of me feels I should be supporting and rooting for the Motherland.

Meanwhile, "Cabecao the turtle, who is thought to predict World Cup outcomes, gives his pick for the quarter-final match between Brazil and Colombia on Friday. At his sanctuary in the Brazilian state of Bahia, Cabecao uses sardine selection to predict who will advance to the semi-final. After much deliberation, the turtle backs Brazil, much to the delight of the crowd."
We shall see if the Psychic Turtle's prediction is correct.

I'm not going very well in sports at the moment. Both my teams (Australia and Italy) have been knocked out in the group stages in the last two World Cups. I follow the Lakers and Redsox in America, who have both been going terribly. T Dallas Cowboys missed the playoffs last season and the Red Wings made the playoffs but played shockingly and lost 4-1.
Back home the Adelaide Thunderbirds (netball) suddenly became crap and I don't even know what's happening with the Gold Coast Titans in the Rugby League.
Luckily, my all-time favourite team Port Adelaide (aussie rules) have been doing amazingly. Although even they lost top spot on the ladder last weekend :P
I sorry, but I had a hard time getting past the picture of you wearing the 'Brazil' shorts.....were you talking about soccer or something?
Something tells me that the sardines are rigged! By the way, I will be visiting your neck of the woods next week, 14- 17 if you want to say hi.
