Have you ever had a song stuck in your head that regardless of how many other songs you listen to in attempts to drain that song out, it still remains in your head even after 5 days?

Hmm, this is currently my problem. I woke up Monday morning and I as began my day the following lyrics all of a sudden popped into my head--

"Cause we were never being boring

We had too much time to find for ourselves"

And they've been there ever since......

Valentine's Day 2016: "Drink From Me"

It's Valentine's Day Weekend & this year I decided to post a song. 

Once in awhile a song will come along that not only will touch your heart but also your mind & soul...... 

On January 25th Coldplay released a new single featuring Beyoncé  called "Hymn For The Weekend."

Everything about this song, from the video, to the way the song is sung and most especially the lyrics are....hmm, I think Hans Christen Andersen said it best,

"Where words fail, music speaks."

Super Bowl 50 Weekend

It's Super Bowl Weekend aka The Most Epic Cheat Day Ever!! Mmm....I can already taste those yummy chicken fingers.

This may come as a shock but I don't follow football. Up here in the Great White North it's all about hockey. The only thing that interests me about football is The Super Bowl and that's only because of the food, the commercials and the half-time show.

From what I know the teams that will be playing are The Denver Bronocs and The Carolina Panthers. 

So which team do I think will take home the glorious trophy? I have no idea however if you were to ask me which team uniform I like best----

 The Carolina Panthers. 

May the best team win!!

Groundhog's Day---- CANCELLED

Today is Groundhog's Day and it's with extreme sadness that I write a death has occurred......  Excuse me while I grab a Kleenex.

Winnipeg Willow, who is the equivalent of Punxsutawney Phil was found dead on Friday. Willow, who was five when she died, came to the centre in 2010 after her mother was killed by a dog.

Winnipeg Willow died at the province’s Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. She will be remembered for her love of kale, sweet potatoes, peanuts and carrots, a treat she was last seen enjoying before she died without warning Friday evening. She was five years old.

Hmm, she was found dead? Without any warning? 

What does that exactly mean and why was there no mention of an autopsy report? Surely one must have been conducted and if not why? Could it be the Prairie Wildlife  Rehabilitation Centre is doing some type of life insurance fraud?

How did this beloved Canadian icon die?  She was last seen eating her favorite treat. Could she have been poisoned? My bets are on a rival woodchuck who wanted her job. 

If by chance Willow died of natural causes I wonder if it was Post-Traumatic Syndrome-- after-all her mother was murdered by a four legged beast. Or maybe, just maybe the stress of fame got to Willow and she took her own life.

Kidding aside, Groundhog Day Celebrations have been cancelled.

So now I wonder, if the Groundhog is dead does this mean winter is also officially dead and spring is around the corner for us?
