Cocaine Princess here. Last night I had the most unbelievable night's rest! I tried going to bed at 1:30am and I didn't wake up until exactly 8 hours later. OMG I couldn't believe it. When I woke up I felt so refreshed and re-energized. There's an old saying, 'if you can't sleep it's because your soul is restless.' Perhaps yesterday my soul became restful. I don't know about tonight.....
I went out today with 'A.' She needed to get some Halloween things for her students. This year she teaches a big class, 31 students compared to 20 last year. To more important things, what did I buy? I bought some notebooks and some more pens. I write everything in long hand first. I'm not the kind who sits at a lap-top and starts typing away. I tried in the beginning but the words were not flowing smoothly as they did and still do with my ink pen and my trusty notebook. I also bought a cute little black and grey skirt
from GUESS and two cashmere sweaters. I was in the change room trying them on and my cell phone rings. I say hello and it's Valentina. In a very professional voice she says: There's someone on the line who wishes to speak to you, please hold. I did for about two seconds and who was it? Her daddy. Oh God, I said to myself, I know what this is about. He asked me why I didn't inform him right away about the threat someone left on my blog? I told him it was just some idiot trying to get attention and I had left him a written message. I handled it in a way that I believed was appropriate but Valentina's daddy wasn't convinced a written message was enough or even appropriate. His exact words, 'you need to always strike hard first so they know not to mess with you ever again.' I believe that to be true in his line of business but not in mine. Maybe the idiot received the message because he hasn't said anything, at least not yet. Her daddy liked all my blog entries very much and told me not to let the rejection letters bring me down. He ended by saying three words:
Illegitimi Non Carborundum.
Actually he ended by saying, 'I love you like my own daughter.
For those of you who need a translation: Don't Let The Bastards Grind You Down.
That's all for today.
XOXOXOXO,
Cocaine Princess

Wow I love your blog! You have a very interesting lifestyle.
I like the way you dealt with the situation. Whoever complained is just a sad pathetic loser. If they don't like your blog then they don't have to read it.
Valentina's Daddy sounds so sweet!
I'll definitely be back x
Illegitimi Non Carborundum... We have a lot in common, I too use this phrase almost like a mantra.
Take care G x
