Cocaine Princess here.
PART 1: "THE GIGGLE"
One morning while out for a run I stopped in at Tim Hortons for a small fruit~berry yogurt. No matter what day of the week I go, there’s always a group of elderly men, 5 in total who sit at the corner table playing cards or dominoes while drinking a hot cup of Tim’s coffee and munching on fresh donuts. I do believe it’s their hang~out. These particular guys are always joking around with the staff and customers. They are a humorous bunch.
The morning that I was there I sat 2 tables down from them. The leader of the senior gang {and I only say that because he’s the most loudest one out of the bunch} looked at those who were seated nearby and said:
“Did you hear about the dog who lifted up his leg on an electrical fence? His name was Sparky.”
Oh boy, did I ever let out a giggle.
PART 2: "THE EXERCISE"
If you follow my blog then you know my sister is an elementary school teacher. Beginning Monday October 4th the entire student population at her school will be taking part in an exercise: To live one week without watching TV, surfing the web and playing video games. Sister informed me nearly every student in her class thought it was some type of punishment. The purpose of this exercise you ask? To increase physical activity and personal development and to increase time spent together as a family.
This challenge took place in another school region last year and this year the local school board decided to give it a try. Students are allowed to access their computer for homework purposes only provided a parent/guardian is nearby monitoring. Students must also record what activity they are doing instead of watching TV, surfing the internet or playing video games and are required to have their parents/guardian sign a sheet verifying they participated in the week long event.
So, I ask you this question my lovelies: can you live 7 days without any TV, internet and video games?

PART 3: "COCKTAILS"
Today is October 1st. 30 days remain until Halloween or as I like to call it THE DAY THE GREAT PUMPKIN RISES! It’s one of my favorite days out of the year. Hey, how can anyone who has been a kid disagree?
If you recall in the summer of 2009 I posted almost every night a different drink. It was my Happy Hour posting. I was able to find 31 different drinks related to Halloween. Until the big day arrives I will be posting a different drinkie everyday. Let's just call it a "Countdown To Halloween."
My lovelies I present to you.......
October 1st
DRACULA'S KISS
"Dracula's Kiss is a haunting cocktail for Halloween parties. The drink creates two layers: the bottom is red with grenadine and the top is black with cola. Add spiders to the drink or hang them on the glass for a ghoulish finishing touch. Both Smirnoff and Effen make great black cherry vodkas."INGREDIENTS:
* 1 oz Black Cherry Vodka
* 1/2 oz Grenadine
* Cola
* Maraschino Cherries For Garnish
PREPARATION:
1. Coat the bottom of a highball glass with grenadine.
2. Add ice and vodka.
3. Fill with cola.
4. Garnish with cherries.
Tomorrow Drink Number 2.....

My loyal and dear readers it’s finally Friday.
Whatever your plans are have an amazing first weekend of October.~x

Not into video games, television I could manage, computer--one week without? Pfft! Forget it!
I think that I could live without all three for seven days. When I go away on holiday I can, but as soon as I get back I always have to check my emails etc.
NOPE !!
Can I go without TV or the Internet?....gawd yes. I look forward to the day when I can retire to a cabin in the wilderness and be totally diconnected. As for drinks, I am more of a traditionlist and don't go for all this custom alcohol stuff. Just give me a glass of Merlot or a good Martini....I am a happy camper.
Can't live without all three INCLUDING alcohol.
BTW-- A bottle of booze everyday can lessen a persons' chance of dementia.
I don't watch much Tv...Maybe a show or two but gasp a month with out the Internet...
