London Fashion Week officially kicked off. This isn't the British in me talking but I find the European shows far more exciting than New York Fashion Week. Burberry, L'Wren Scott and Vivienne Westwood just to name few
Over shows are talking place and how I'd love to cover each and every one of them but it's nearly impossible, in a course of five days more than 130 designers will be showing their designs.
DAY 1 Friday February 15th
Opening London Fashion Week was designer Zoe Jordan. I really liked this collection, pieces included metallic lamé suits.
Classic architecture was the inspiration for boxy jackets and tunics over cigarette pants.

The collection also featured pencil skirts with flashes of hot orange mixed with monochromatic pieces:
DAY 2 Saturday February 16th
Singer Rihanna presented her debut collection in collaboration with River Island. The reviews for the collection were not kind as they ranged from a "horror show" to "Kmart's Fright Night" to " "wearable and impressive". The British Fashion Council is claiming that Rihanna was not part of the ‘official’ LFW line-up, so why then was the show presented during London Fashion Week? In my opinion the collection wasn't that bad compared to some of the weird things designers have come up with. I think critics are just giving her a hard time. Spotted in the crowd were Cara Delevingne, Mollie King and Jourdan Dunn who offered their full support. The show started 50minutes late and was held inside the Old Sorting Office on New Oxford Street.
The 90's inspired collection included 2 piece denim outfits:

I really like this little Calvin Klein slip style hi-low dress.
More 90s influence-- a red bathing suit inspired from the hit show Baywatch:
