London Fashion Week: Day 4- BURBERRY!!

One of the most highly anticipated show (and one of my faves) during London Fashion Week is Christopher Bailey for Burberry Prorsum. This grand show took place in a giant transparent tent in Kensington Gardens. The invite:

Guests for Burberry A/W 2013~14 included Victoria Pendleton, Tinie Tempeh, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rita Ora, Anna Wintour, Olivia Palermo Salma Hayek and Kate Beckinsale with her daughter.

The song Hold Me was sung live by Tom Odell accompanied by a piano, cello and choir. Christopher Bailey chose fabrics with vinyl, patent leather and metal.
The theme: Trench Kisses. How cute!  A collection of classics and Christine Keeler - setting a mischievous tone for the hint of sexiness - and wickedness - to come.

The outfit that stole the show: Cara Delevingne in a vinyl skirt with heart-print knickers beneath that managed to be at once both prim and kinky.

The classic Burberry trench with a twist: Classic with a touch of the Christine Keelers in this mink Caban coat:

Other pieces shown on the runway: a red corset dress with oxblood trim was in typical Burberry tones. (Love this dress!)

 There was animal print mink and calfskin alongside translucent rubber.

Occasional monochrome pieces broke up a collection largely based around iconic Burberry tones.

 A black dress with a metallic collar:

One of the finale pieces included a a heart~print calfskin trench that Christopher described as "sweet and sexy."   (Love this too!)
