Another Senseless Killing

Cocaine Princess here.

It's been kind of a sluggish week for me. I blame the weather. Sometimes I wonder if I live in a snow~globe. It's the only explanation I can come up with as to why it won't stop snowing.

Spring officially arrived 2 days ago. Here's a picture I snapped on the 1st Day Of Spring. Such a pretty sight isn't it?

A day earlier we were slammed by another damn winter storm. The above pic is the damage Mother Nature did. She already killed its sibling when the last storm came roaring in.  It seems murdering yet another shrub of ours wasn't enough, she had to also split the poor thing right down the middle which has now become her signature. This brings the grand total of shrubs killed by Mother Nature to 4. All were senseless killings.

We're nearing the end of March. The birdies are chirping, the geese are making their return yet everywhere I look there's snow, snow and more snow. In case you didn't know, I frigging hate snow!  Ah, welcome to The Great White North, where Mother Nature doesn't give a 'effing care about the seasons and does whatever the hell she pleases. This isn't funny anymore, Mother Nature. Did you not get the memo that spring has arrived?

Speaking of The Great White North, I saw this video not too long ago. It's a humorous song about the differences between us folks up here and you lovely readers down south. Just so you know, I've never said zed, I've always preferred saying zee.

The song is called "Stronger Beer," by Tim Hicks. Check it out.

My loyal and dear readers it's finally Friday.

Whatever your plans are have a brilliant weekend. ~x

Wow that is a lot of SNOW!!!!

We were suppose to get a little snow/ice last night/this morning. It didn't happen.

But wow u got a lot of SNOW there.

I think if I lived up there I would enjoy being able to wear different "coloured" scarfs, mittens and whatnot--

Plus to look at pristine beautiful white snow out my window. But I know it's a bear to drive in.

Cute video.

Have a blessed Friday!!!

We continue to get snow and cold temperatures her too. I thought it would be all over with by the time I got back from Mexico! Not so.

Like Stormy said, we missed the snow that was forecasted... actually, I think it did snow for about an hour... just a passing fancy down here.

What we aren't likely to miss will be the severe thunderstorms and such that are scheduled to move through this area over the next 48-60 hours...

Jackson, MS got slammed by a really bad storm this past Monday where the norm was quarter-size hail, with some areas receiving tennisball-size and baseball-size hail...

Have a great weekend!!!

Mother Nature can be an unpredictable woman, that's for sure. I think she must be suffering PMT before the water starts flowing in Spring.
