One Of Those Posts With No Title

Cocaine Princess here.

What can I say about this week? It was an extremely busy one that's left me exhausted yet not to the point where I can fall asleep. In my last post one of my readers suggested instead of listening to Armin Van Burrin to help lull me to sleep, I should try  Brahms or Copland. I'll give it a try. Here's hoping I'll be back to my awesome self next week.
As some of you may or may not know, I'm not the biggest dog lover only because they enjoy either chasing or tackling me to the ground while I'm out for my daily morning run, however I couldn't help but smile looking at these pictures of Julian and Max

In other news, although the month of April has arrived the wintery weather hasn't ended for us. It's officially spring but I'm still dressing in winter clothes. I feel hot when I enter a building and then cold when I step outside. To be honest I find the whole thing funny but between you and me, I have a feeling we'll be wearing our goose down parkas until July. Hey, if you don't have a sense of humor about this you'll only drive yourself crazy.

My loyal and dear readers it's finally Friday.

Whatever your plans are have a fantastic weekend. ~x

Chopin wrote a piano piece called Berceuse, which as a Canadian you'll know is the French word for lullaby. I can't say it helps me sleep, but it does send me into rapture.

I don't like dogs either. Are you more of a cat person?

Have a great weekend yourself, Miss Princess.

I feel for u Cocaine Princess. I sleep very well but I think it's because I am exhausted. But there are times when I'm so exhausted that sleep will not come. And I wonder why if one is so exhausted. I guess that mind is working overtime and can't calm down. But that has to be "tiring" no pun intended to not be able to get to sleep or a good night's sleep.

Those pics of the Julian and his pup, Max are ADORABLE. I don't force my pup on anybody because not everybody likes dogs. And the ones that chase and tackle u that is the owner's fault for not training or keeping them up. Dogs will do what u allow them to do. I try to make sure my pup is not annoying to anybody. I know how adoring the pup is to me but not everybody loves him the way I do. He brings me joy and comfort. And I am never alone. I never feel lonely because I always have some living breathing creature to come home too.

I feel exhausted this morning although I slept very well. But towards the end of the week "my overworked schedule" catches up with me. Usually, I have to sleep in late on Saturdays to catch up so to speak. However, I do have a Yoga session at 10:45 a.m. I don't like to miss that.

I just found out my sister and family plus my mom will be moving about four hours further away. They are currently six hours away. So that will be a total of 10 hours for me to drive to see my mom. Wichita, Kansas. I don't know what my sister and her family are running from. They think if they keep moving from city to city their lives will improve. What they need to do is "Get up off their bums. Get a job. And take care of themselves." Lately, they have been not been doing this for like the last three years. And guess who is taking care of them. US citizens. They are both abled bodied and I don't understand how they get away with it. It irritates me truthfully to know I have a sister and brother-in-law whom act like "white trash" at times. I have lost a lot of respect for my both of them." That is an ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE THING FOR ME TO SAY ABOUT MY OWN FAMILY MEMBER. I sound mean but I don't care for people including my own family whom won't help themselves. Blah--something else for me to think about--my mom anyway. She wants to come back to Memphis but I can't take care of her the way she needs to be taken care of working and going to school like I do. I did for four years but then my sister was here to help me. But it is too much for one person. Amazingly enough I feel this way about my mom when she abandoned me when I was a child. I guess one can forgive anything. Somehow, I got off track here. Sorry--

Have a blessed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Gorilla Bananas at 2:23,
What a truly beautiful piece of music, thank you so much.

No, not really a cat person either.

Have a great weekend too.

Miss Stormy Marples at 9:09,
Sometimes I think I'm either too tired to sleep or my body's just forgotten how to get a good night's sleep....

When a dog tackles me to the ground I can always hear the owner saying, 'he's only playing with you!' (I beg to differ, nothing fun about being tackled)

The owner of that dog should have been on top of that situation.

I do not let my pup bother anyone. He is my responsibility. I, especially, am mindful of children, the elderly, disabled and those frightened of pups.

Not everyone likes pups, cats etc. And that is ok. Pet owners may love their pets but must understand that others don't feel the same way about them.

My dad does not like pups. He has to this day to meet my pup. And he is 12-years old. I am not allowed to take him into my dad's home so I don't stay overnight with them in NC. I respect his feelings.

I feel for u Princess. It's an awful feeling to be tired and unable to rest. And for that I am sorry my friend.

I love Julian and Max, every small boy should have a dog that big.

I am off to Phoenix one last time this weekend to close up our house for sale and to take my mother-in-law out for mother's day. Not the way I really want to spend my weekend, but it has to be done.

Miss Stormy Marples at 9:32,
No worries, I'm pretty much use to getting by on 4hrs of sleep. I think perhaps if I don't struggle so much with it, it'll happen naturally for me. It's not that I don't like dogs but for some reason I'm always a target regardless of how many other people might be around.

Bruce at 11:12,
I thought it was pretty sweet too.
Here's hoping you have some fun this weekend. PS. Isn't it early for Mother's Day?

Everyone seems to be loving Julian & Max!!

I envy anyone who can fall asleep without any problems.

Thank you, have a great weekend too!

So sorry you still aren't sleeping! Hope you're snoozing soon. Unless you go insane from sleep deprivation and the posts are crazy because that could be interesting.

'Cat people'...

My ex was a cat person. She found a stray and brought it in. Turns out, I'm allergic to cats... by the time we divorced, she had 8 indoor cats.

Do you know where 8 indoor cats go to the bathroom?

I think she was passively aggressively trying to kill me... :oD
