DAY 2: New York Fashion Week

Cocaine Princess here,

As they say, the show must go on!  The iconic American designer Tommy Hilfiger presented his collection today with a slight delay on account of the winter storm.

The book style invite. (Notice the houndstooth around the edges)

Backstage. Hmm, I see houndstooth fabric peaking out.

The sketches: “The tailoring is precise, but I’m leaving just enough room for the unexpected”

The show took place at the Park Avenue Armory where the room was transformed to resemble an Ivy League library.

Male Hilfiger model backstage:

"Welcome to Sartorial Prep, where tailoring is everything," the designer quoted. Designs were ‘precise and classic, but never stuffy. Rooted in British tradition, but unmistakably American with 60s British flair.’ Collegiate stripes and houndstooth ruled.

The shearling-lined car coats were printed with the Prince of Wales checks on the exterior.

British cool meets American ingenuity. Lots of crisp tailoring and argyle. The collection was classy and stylish.

 Bravo Mr. Hilfiger!

Tomorrow Day 3 of New York Fashion Week.

XOXOXOXO,
Cocaine Princess
